LOCAL GROUPS FOCC Black Country- charity no. 1097318. Area: The Black Country is situated in the industrial heartlands of the West Midlands conurbation approximately 8 miles from Birmingham. Our central position in the country gives us access to a wide range of amenities, most of which the children in our group have sampled. Group Coordinator: Howard Barber - tel: 01384 - 457420 - email General background: FOCC Black Country was set up in late 2001, with our first visit of 12 children taking place in June 2002.
Our group currently hosts 14 children from the town of Mogilev in Belarus, with visits normally taking place during the months of May &
June each year.
A program of activities is provided each year for the children to take part in, ranging from a visit to the local Dentist to a day out at
Alton Towers - you can guess which is the most appealing!
We are always glad to hear from anyone who may wish to become involved as a Host family, Helper, Fundraiser or Sponsor. For all general enquiries, please contact us through the Group Co-ordinator.
