If you can't become directly involved either as a Host Family or Helper in a specific FOCC group, then maybe you could sponsor a child. Your sponsorship would help to bring more children to the UK for respite care. 

Sponsorship can typically take two forms:

• travel expenses for each child - the main cost. 
• help for Host families while the children are here.
