Friends of Chernobyl's Children

Area: The group is based in the market town of Settle, about 15 miles north of Skipton in the North Craven area of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Friends of Chernobyl's Children, Settle was set up in 1997 and has welcomed a group of 12 children to the area, from the town of Mogilev in Belarus, for one month each year since 1998.

We are always glad to hear from families in the local area who would like to to host a child or anyone who would like to help in any way with the visits. Please contact our coordinators, Jackie and Steve if you are able to help.

Each annual visit costs around £8000 and we are always on the look out for people to help with fundraising and sponsorship.
