The Friends of Chernobyl's Children, South Lakes began in 1995 and has brought 12 children over, from Mogilev, each year since then.

This year, 2006, the children are due to arrive on 31st July and will be with us until 28th August. We have host families around Kendal, Arnside, Carnforth, Nether Kellet, Lancaster, Bentham and Morecambe.
